PRACTICE-PRACTICE-PRACTICE

I've been dancing on a consistent basis these last ten years and I still practice, practice and practice. I'm sure, as I've said before, that some of my followers  think I need to do it even more.  I can still hear my  band director saying those infamous words to me, : practice,  practice, practice.  If you want to be good in anything you do, you have to practice.  You must use all your motor nerves and muscle groups to learn the patterns through repetitive practicing.  Practice sometimes makes us perfect, but in dancing it just makes us more acceptable and look better.  Yes, I even practice when alone.  Always before any of my dance classes do I not go over the routine of the lesson by practicing the steps to be taught.  However, it's best to practice with someone that can be a partner.  You'll both be better when practice is part of your dancing program.  Is there any wonder that some of our best looking dancers are married and to each other.  Not only do they practice marriage together, but they also practice their dancing together.  So, put some time into your busy life and do some practicing, because, even just a little goes a long way.  Practice, practice , practice. your dancing efforts is so hard to plan, and so easy to forget,  but so important in being the best dancer you can be.
