'Dancing With the Stars' and 'The Bachelor' vet Melissa Rycroft joins ABC's 'Good Morning America'

Melissa Rycroft Dishes on Dancing with the Stars Return

Perfect Samba

Rib injury, shmib injury!

Melissa Rycroft showed no signs of being in pain last week, returning to Dancing with the Stars and earning a perfect score of 30 for her Samba. Before taking the floor again tonight, the contestant says her fans needn't worry.

"[The injury's] definitely been manageable," Rycroft told TV Guide. "We're going on week three now, so it's definitely getting better. It's only going to get better. The patch [with medication] is working, so I'm not concerned at all."

Melissa Rycroft's outfit? Questionable. Her Samba? Flawless.

 

 
Dancing with the Stars finds new fans
LOS ANGELES — Hours after actor Gilles Marini and dance partner Cheryl Burke wrapped up a rumba that drew a standing ovation from the Dancing With the Stars studio audience, he needs a body tuneup.

Soft New Age music and a soothing tabletop waterfall in chiropractor Tom Rudenko's office are a quiet contrast to the boisterous theatrics at ABC's hit ballroom competition. But they're just the tonic for weary Marini.

"One-two-three-five-six-seven," is repeated out loud over the Latin music playing in the background.

"There is no four; we never count four," Darrel Sanders, owner and instructor at Dance Crafters School of Ballroom Dancing, reminds those who are concentrating on counting and moving their feet while learning the basics of salsa dancing.

Anyone is welcome at the basement studio on South Weinbach Avenue. No experience and no partner is needed. Sanders only requires dancing shoes and a willingness to learn.
